Physical

Physical-digital pairing

A digital edition tied to a real-world object, with a collector shipping form after the sale.

At deploy
Storage fee

Free under 5 MB, $0.05/MB above with a $0.50 minimum.

Creator, once at deploy

1st sale (primary)
5%

artsunami takes 5% of the first sale. On the platform's own mint the collector pays it on top of the mint price; on SeaDrop / OpenSea mints it's deducted on-chain from the sale (creator receives 95%).

Taken on the first sale

2nd market (secondary)
0%

Creators keep 100% of every resale on the artsunami marketplace, minus their own EIP-2981 royalty.

Settled out of the resale

EIP-2981 royalty (separate from the fees above)

On top of the table above, you set your own royalty rate at deploy (capped at 10%). Every honest marketplace - including artsunami - pays it directly to your wallet on every resale. The royalty is never withheld by artsunami: the contract sends it to you in the same transaction as the seller payout.

Cost breakdown for this format

Estimated mainnet gas
One-time cost paid to Ethereum at deploy. artsunami takes nothing on top.
~$15
  • Typical storage footprint
One artwork plus one metadata JSON shared across the edition. The shipping form data is never pinned - it goes straight to the creator by notification.
  • Resulting storage fee
Free in almost every case. The digital side is a single artwork, so phygital projects rarely cross the 5 MB threshold.
Format quirks
  • +ERC-1155 edition: one token id with N copies, each paired to a physical item.
  • +Collectors fill a shipping form after minting; the creator receives the address by notification.
  • +artsunami never custodians the personal data beyond delivery - it is not stored on-chain or pinned to IPFS.
  • +Same artwork URL is reused for every copy, so the storage fee is paid once.
