Physical-digital pairings
A digital edition tied to a real-world object. Collectors fill a shipping form after collecting; the creator manages claims + tracking from the dashboard.
What it is
A phygital edition pairs each released work with a physical item the creator ships: a print, a t-shirt, a sculpture, a vinyl. The on-chain certificate proves ownership of both; the shipping side runs through a per-edition inbox in the creator's dashboard.
How you build one
Pick the 'Physical-digital pairing' card on /create. Configure the digital edition (artwork, price, supply, royalty) and the physical fulfilment fields (what's shipped, available regions, lead time, return policy). The deploy is identical to a regular edition - the phygital metadata is recorded in the contract URI.
Shipping workflow
After a collector claims, they're prompted to fill a shipping form (postal address, contact email, optional notes). The form data lands in /dashboard/phygital for the creator: CSV export, per-order tracking number, mark-as-shipped. Personal data is retained for max 90 days then auto-purged - the creator MUST export regularly.
Caps and constraints
No per-token cap beyond the standard edition limit. EU consumer-protection regs (14-day right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU) apply where relevant - the creator handles refunds + returns directly.
